With a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy our Grade 7 and 8 students have the opportunity to explore and learn in a vibrant, modern and safe learning environment staffed by highly skilled, caring and passionate teachers and staff. At St. Benedict School, our Grades 7 and 8 Wing is separate from our secondary school students and is designed to optimize learning and provide students with opportunities to achieve their goals and to nurture their interests.
Choosing a 7 to 12 model provides many advantages including a smoother transition to secondary as students become familiar with the staff and the school and experience many transition opportunities that help to make the transition to secondary successful. We also offer superior, modern facilities, many opportunities to build community, leadership opportunities, technology and enhanced resources as well as a vast array of sports and extra-curricular activities for your child to enjoy.

Grade 7 and 8 students follow a rotary system, in which students are exposed to teachers who specialize in specific subject areas. Students are assigned a homeroom, and together, this group of students moves from class to class throughout the day.
